Features & Benefits
The Knife Gate Valve Series 768 is an engineered solution for challenging slurry handling applications. Its compact wafer face-to-face design makes it an efficient, space-saving option for various slurry processes, featuring Bray SlurryShield Technology. This valve can replace traditional knife gate valves directly, offering enhanced performance.
The design incorporates twin elastomer sleeves and a self-cleaning gate. Built to withstand 1.1 times the valve’s pressure rating, the gate ensures reliable operation under high-pressure conditions. By utilizing higher-yield materials such as Duplex 2205 or 17-4PH stainless steel, the valve can achieve even higher pressure ratings. The elastomer sleeves can be replaced on-site, minimizing downtime and extending the valve's service life.
Certified with CRN and PED Category I Module A for Group 2 liquids, this valve meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
The Knife Gate Valve Series 768 guarantees superior performance in heavy-duty slurry applications such as mining, HPAL/POX, and chemical processing, making it a reliable choice for a range of industries.
Features
● Protective Stem Cover: Standard feature to increase cycle life in harsh environments.
● Encapsulated J-Ring: Provides sleeve reinforcement and memory assist, ensuring zero leakage performance in both directions.
● Self-Cleaning Gate: In the open position, the energized sleeves protect all metal parts from exposure to the process media.
● Robust Gate Design: Specifically engineered for slurry applications, available in various corrosion-resistant alloys.
● Full-Port Design: Ensures an unobstructed flow path, improving sleeve life and reducing pressure drop across the valve.
● Two-Piece Bolted Body: Facilitates easy maintenance and offers compatibility with a variety of flange standards.
● Optional Bottom Flush Plate: Includes tapped ports for safe media discharge and a simple flush water connection.
